I bought one from Blade HQ and I like the knife but, as far as "blade play" its not enough to even be concerned over. Although the one I received had a damaged tip. I think they gave me a demo knife and someone broke the tip in the store because the box was re-taped closed and the knife was loose in the box. Kind of difficult to resharpen but I got it to "shave" after working on it for a while.

ok i have had several experts tell me that there is alot of blade play with this knife and that it rattles like crazy. I know they must be lying bc as you said, there is that extra plate that prevents blade play. HOWEVER, does it rattle like crazy? These "experts" I am friends with told me that only some of them rattle while some don't. whatever that means. . . if this is the case, could you tell me, since you have all six models, which is the best when it comes to rattling when closed? thank u

Personally, I question these "experts"
While the design and the colors of many Piranha knives are *unique* I have never had build quality issues with their knives, they are great. Very little blade play- especially for an OTF knife, and I have never seen one that "rattles"
