The only wooden station in NJ Transit's electrified territory was demolished on Halloween 1992. Not sure why.

  • From what I could find, the Denville station depot had experienced a fire and was demolished a few weeks later.

  • Heartbreaking...

  • The fact that the station hadn't looked all that great for about 2-2.5 decades before it was demolished would be another reason.

  • Wow I sure hope they tore it down because of a fire or something. Tearing down an old train station is a big no no.

  • that's sucks they torned down the station and it's now a parking lot.
