Electric Arc Furnace busbars, taken a couple of shots during bimonthly maintenance in transformer room.
This is a no go zone when the equipment is in operation, exposed live terminals, confined space, heat and noise.

  • thats a big fucking transformer id love to stand in there and throw spanners at it when its running! imagine how funny that would be! 21 tons of oil lol how much is a oil change?

  • That TX room is locked off during opetation, The magnetic fields are enormous and any loose ferromagnetic material will be flying around in that room, if near the busbars.
