@Nismo12345678 it's a pusan-area dialect for "well done/good effort/keep trying." it's got nothing to do with cussing LOL. shout outs to gyopo world-wide. 욕본다!

@Nismo12345678 Actually being cussed at is yokmukda not yokbonda. what dhtjlghks said is correct. Example) Kid has long day of school and mom goes "aigoo nae ahdeul yokbonda" which means omgsh my son is going through a lot (or omgsh my son you are working really hard) this word actually doesn't exist in English so it's hard to make a direct translation but hopefully u get the idea

@leoris87 wow thx for the good explanation again.

@aghbagh that would be a word to word translation. 욕본다 originated from country side dialect. When u say 욕본다 to the opponent, its like saying " you've done well" for doing something that is difficult in harsh or disadvantageous circumstances.

@qbnas thanks for clearing that up! khamsahapnida

@dhtjlghks Nah Man... your friend is right... I think aghbagh this guy doesn't know its meaning because it is a kind of slang.

@dhtjlghks it actually means something like
you're gonna get cussed at
욕 is like cussing and 본다 is like "you will see"
