You sound like Bob Ross in this vid... painting a portrait of destruction.

The first videos I watched of Halby! Got me hooked on your method.
-
I think you should do this in ladder, especially if you are bronze.
-
hey great video. i was wondering if i should be doing this in a custom or is it better to practice this online.
thanks

@skjskj3 2 ways, first is to select a whole bunch of scv's (dble click one and all on screen will be selected), then select either rax or depots, and hold down shift as you click where you wanna place them. this will make the closest scv's go and build the buildings. second is to do the the same as above for rax, but for depots, use only one scv, and always have him building 2 depots, so when he is about to finish one, select him and plop another depot. hope this helps

@skjskj3 yes, hotkey your barracks, then press that key to select all the rax and hold down a, and do the same for your command centre, except hold down s.
-
And you how do build supply depot's and barraks so quickly i do it indivially and it takes a long time.
-
Plus i don't understand this button "holding 'a' here", "holding 's' here" are you talking about building scv's (s) and marines (a)?
-
This method doesn't work for me. I'm just too slow and inefficient. And i have a lot of unspent resources when i do this. I lose against normal a.i.

Best video I've seen on macro. You actually break down what to do, what to build, when, what buttons to push. With ABSOLUTELY 0 micro, 0 anti air, or support units, I'm now winning 80% of my bronze league games & I'm not even nearly as efficient at this drill as Halby. Thanks for the vid.
I got to the point where all my supply is dedicated to SCVs, what do I do?

what about the banelings?

@FxPrimeSC2 what about psi storm, colossus, seige tanks, banelings, ultras, battlecruisers, broodlords? The point isn't to learn to make lots of marines, the point is to learn to macro really well, then take those macro skills to other strategies... When you learn to juggle, you don't start by throwing 4 balls up in the air and hoping you figure it out before they land. You learn to toss and catch 1 ball really well, then 2, then 3 etc.

Thanks for this set of drills. I'm trying to get up to a higher league myself, and I was surprised that I wasn't able to do your drill right at first. It helps.
I also love your benchmark concept. I think it should have received more attention on the terran forums. I think I understand your spreadsheet, but I was hoping you could clarify the benchmark numbers themselves, for total army value as a function of times you list. Does the sheet (bench row) match the numbers you use in the VODs

@jcorreiaatmitre the spreadsheet is intended to show how large your army will be if you execute various builds as well as you can... the global benchmark that i talk about in my videos isn't listed on the sheet, but is rather what the sheet is using to color the various columns... if a build has an army size that meets the global bench, that cell will be colored green. You'll notice that all of the builds on the sheet meet bench, but thats cuz when i try crappy builds that fail, i delete them.
