Stacie Orrico vocally is far superior to some of these other people and her music and lyrics superior, but sex sells. The video for STUCK was a perfect opportunity for her to do something provocative to get attention, but she didn't. Now she's got pictures of herself smoking cigarettes. Probably not the direction she wants to go in if she's changing her image. She's not going to get attention from teenage guys, and she's alienating her original fan base. Not too bright.

@PubliusAfricanus it's because she's a christiany do gooder with actual good morals.. Sex sells, that's what Hollywood cares about, there all in it for the money.. it'd be a real tradgedy if she sold out like all the other so called "role-models". She'll comeback if the music scene is just right, I'm sure of it.

Stacie is one talented singer. The fantastic thing is, she sings for the Lord. Most of her songs talk of her walk with God. Maybe God led her out of the music industry to keep her from temptation and to use her voice fully on His ministry. But the legacy she left in her career is forever with the people her voice has touched,. :D

i think good singers should be given the chance for stardom rather than singers that can't even sing.
