  • I have always loved Jaguar. When I heard that Ford had sold the marque to Tata I felt a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I wonder how Sir William Lyons would have reacted if he knew Jaguar had been sold to an Indian company. Not to insult Indian people, I just wish some things could stay 100% British. As an American it never bothered me that Ford owned Jaguar, so I wonder how British people feel about all of this. The classic Jaguars are still iconic over here in the states.

  • @save16thave I wonder what you think about the MG logo that was sold to a Chinese company ... :(

  • @be2212 Wha... really?

In that case, I'm proud to have a 100% British MG, even if it is a Leyland-built one.

  • @siddhant812 i feel the same all of the modern car companies are imitating one another and not creating anything extrordanry such as the D or E type I will say spyker does their own thing and makes some really unique cars I've been lucky enough to see one (peak to Paris)

  • @save16thave Thanks sir,but i am only an 18 year old boy who is tired of the soulless cars of today. The automotive world has really degraded....where volkswagen makes engine for bugatti(remember the days of type 35,and,ettore bugatti, such a genius) and lambos,...where u find GT cars mass produced, with gps all those freaking stuffs...tired of those fiat ferraris..i am studying mechanical engineering(1st year),and yes aiming to own some classics one day............

  • @siddhant812 So sad but so true. Remember though, we will always have the classics to remind us of the glory days. A man of your exquisite taste will surely own one some day, perhaps I will be so lucky myself. I'm glad to know that, although we are separated by a long distance, Americans and Indians share a love for the classics. Good day and good luck to you, sir.

  • @save16thave I myself being an indian feel pity for the company..........if sir william lyons was alive he would have committed suicide............very sorry to say,but jaguars have lost its british jaggishness...........the racing greens are now no more.....................

  • @be2212 I feel the same way about MG as I do about Saab being sold to the Chinese. Or Bentleys being built in Brazil. Or for that matter, the Big Three building most of their cars in Mexico. I don't have anything against any of these nations and I love all people, but I feel like the great western nations are losing so many jobs and so much culture. The degredation of western culture pains me greatly.

  • I wanna play with Stirling Moss and Derek Bell in a D-Type on a closed road, too !!!

  • I love this video I can't stop watching it....
