  • @victorcugas it's actually caused from a bacterial infection from dirty substrate. The gravel in the tank is very smooth and rounded with no sharp edges. I replace water and siphon the gravel weekly, but unfortunately because it's planted I can't siphon between the plants (which is where they mostly hide) so I guess that is the problem. I lost the oldest Cory the other day from the infection. I'm not sure where to go from here as I've had sand before and found it very tricky to maintain.

  • It isn´t an appropriate sand for Corydoras. You can see their barbels amputees.
