Obama does not call people he speaks to "My Friend!" NO! He calls them My Fellow Americans. I find that as good of an address as possible.

My Friends, however, is fake and irritating to ASSume. He does not know any one out there in that audience except the blind followers of the Repubnant cants. And some who think Obama is not white enough, even if his mom is and his grandma who raised him. As if that is how we judge. No its about policy, vision,plans,and WHO you surround yourself with.

I didn't get the camera angle on the channel I was watching so I didn't see the guy behind Obama til now. McCain just can't bring himself to address Obama. However he means it - racist or just old fart - it's rude and the election's over. Almost party time!!!

You know im proud to say as a black guy, I give folks the benifit of doubt. Also being in the military help out. But when John's old behind mad that comment I had to pause and try to figure out what he ment. The funny thing is when the comment was made I did the same exact thing the Dude behind Obama did. Mccain is such a joke. He must think the average American citizen is stupid and would not know when he is putting on a show for the public.

It also creeped me out how Mccain was wondering around the stage when Obama was talking. He's like that creepy old man that walks around the mall wanting to expose himself to young children.

I think this comment was planned and purposeful, I'm sorry to say. McCain has been in this presidential race with Senator Obama for how long? Three months or more? He's not THAT old. I hate bigots, no matter what their color, and I think the McCain camp is playing to bigots and age old fears of race. Remember, 17% of DEMOCRATS in North Carolina admitted race played a role in who they voted for in the primary.
