Republicans in the Senate refuse to allow a small tax increase on millionaires to help offset a cut to the payroll tax - they would rather freeze federal employee pay or even lay off 10% of the federal civilian workforce. The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

  • Next time you talk to a Republiccan, have toilet paper ready to wipe his mouth.

  • @SocialDissimulation Wait wait your point is that we should not stop the war on drugs because humans will never stop their consumption of drugs? Like we should not make murder legal because humans will never stop killing each other? I seriously thought you were trolling but now I see you have down's syndrome and what makes you think I'm a pothead? the fact that I point out how a completele narrow minded jackass you are?

  • @duprez2 So true. These people will also pay payroll taxes and sales taxes. The real job creators are those who BUY THE PRODUCTS and SERVICES - and not the ones who just extract the profits. The middle class was developed, grown, and sustained by adequate compensation.

  • @CambridgeHeights That's not how I try to win hearts and minds.

  • @Soularddave Just kill him instead.

  • I am so sick of the wealthy calling themselves "job creators". We need WORKING CONSUMERS, as well as investors, to create jobs. The economy is never going to improve if the middle class continues to shrink.

  • @Soularddave LOL holy shit that was the funniest thing i've read in some time.

  • @SocialDissimulation Yes. And I am not sure what part of my comment you found confusing. Or have you forgotten your original comment to me?

  • @morganbath Really have no idea what you're talking about. Is English your first language?

  • @SocialDissimulation So I was right? You honestly think you are so different, so special, that you need to do the opposite of what works for everyone else? I am ok with that if you do. It is your country. I will watch with interest as to how things work out for you. Luck to you.

  • the payroll tax issue is a farce, Obama is going to win election again, this payroll tax vote is a tool used to make the republicans look disconnected from main street, and the irony is the GOP is playing the game, like they want to look bad!, am I the only one who sees this?, The GOP has no viable candidates, and its like this on purpose!...when will you people get it!, we are being played!, bigtime!, while they "appear" to disagree......we all suffer!

  • @pullzdatrigga Again, I am absolutely baffled by your inability to just plain whiff on the reasoning. So let me hold your hand once again and make sure you understand. Whether or not something profitable has nothing to do with the morality of something, so when you say: "The war is costing us _______,", manpower, funds, etc. etc., "therefore this should be made legal", it has. And I shall repeat for you, since you seem hard of reading: Nothing to do with this being moral or not. That point alone

  • @SocialDissimulation"Because it is not profitable in either materials or manpower therefore it must end has -nothing- to do with the morality of the subject" THE WHOLE ISSUE IS ABOUT MORALITY... " I have to make sure you're competent" You have to make sure I'm competent for an answer?! Get off your pedestal you condescending jizzrag, you should really change your name to social parasite no ones gonna listen to your delusional logic go back to making gay ass love vids fat fucking looser

  • @pullzdatrigga Alright, I want you to read this point several times because I want to make sure you understand -- because you seem bereft of the ability to comprehend things at this point. What that -eventually- equates to is: Because it is not profitable in either materials or manpower, therefore it must end has -nothing- to do with the morality of the subject. As for an answer to your question, I have to make sure you're competent to accept an answer. So what evidence would you accept?

  • @SocialDissimulation You are beginning to sound incoherent by dancing around the question as to why we should not end the war on drugs... and why did you completely ignore the point mesmokumpeacepipe made when he said "We are losing the war on drugs and it would be better if we gave up because the actions we are taking to fight the drug war causes worse problems than the drugs themselves." seems to me all your delusional mind could process was WE SHOULD JUST GIVE UP LET THE JUNKIES WIN

  • @pullzdatrigga " I'm saying that the argument that it can't be stopped ubiquitously means that it shouldn't be stopped at all." Add on 'is stupid' at the end of that.

  • @pullzdatrigga No, see, that's falsely applying an argument. I never said lighting up a joint was comparable to murder. That you use an analogy does not mean that you are -directly- comparing the two things in question. I'm saying that the argument that it can't be stopped ubiquitously means that it shouldn't be stopped at all. As for legitimate reasoning, what would you qualify as legitimate reasons to continue the War on Drugs? What evidence would you accept? I mean.

  • @SocialDissimulation Yet you implied that was the point I was making and falsely accuse me of being a drug addict and a pothead. The logic that because we will never win a war on drugs therefore we should legalize it is flawed I agree, but comparing it to fundamental wrongs such as murder, rape, robbery, assault is completely asinine.

Now give me a legitimate reason as to why we should not stop the War on Drugs?

  • @pullzdatrigga Ahh, I see the problem here, you've completely misunderstood the entire conversation. The assertion by my pot-smoking adversary was: We will never win the war on drugs, so we should just give up. So I applied that logic to other situations including but not limited to: Theft, violence and of course deception. These things will also never be stopped, so using the vacuumed logic of: "Oh, we cannot stop it therefore it should be legal", to me, is backwards. Stay in school, darling.

  • @pullzdatrigga What quality, if you will, makes it a false-analogy? This is why I love debating with potheads, completely unaware of the situation. How is "Oh well, it'll never be stopped", an applicable argument, dear?

  • @SocialDissimulation LOLLOLOLOL how did you school me you dumbfuck your analogy makes no sense! If you got your head out of your fat fucking ass you would see that the only person that got schooled is you by the guy you responded to with that retarded analogy

  • @pullzdatrigga First and foremost, your inability to discern sarcasm is hilarious. Literally, I am baffled by how someone could take that in a serious tone. Second, the analogy was to say that that particular point was silly. THAT point, "Oh well it'll never be stopped", is not a valid one. Perhaps with other circumstances it will be valid, but by itself it's just silly. I'm just glad you finally made some form of a point so I could school you.

  • @SocialDissimulation "We ought to stop the war on murder as well. Heck, crime in general because people are never going to stop.BUT, we should tax these crimes so if you commit murder you get put into a different tax bracket. Illegal immigration too! We would probably see less immigrants in America if we took it off the criminal books. Sorry, your talking points aren't very convincing."

Comparing the war on drugs to murder and illegal immigration is why you're such a fat fucking retard/troll

  • @SocialDissimulation How am I all over the place? Please lay off those cheeseburgers you fat motherfucker ;)
