@worgdroogal88 I think oboe is waaayyy harder.The Bassoon reed is much easier to play on than an average oboe reed O_O . But we're all different

Oy, try telling people you play the harpsichord!!! Oboe is my secondary instrument, I have the same problem too lol.

What's sad is when I tell some people I play the clarinet and they don't know what it is.

When I was in grade 9 band, I wanted to play the bassoon but I thought it was called an oboe... So when I got the instrument in front of me I was like T_T what the hell did I just do...
Now I'm a university oboe major, best mistake I ever made.

The piece is Pure Imagination by Leslie Bricusse from Willy Wonka, arranged for oboe and piano by my colleague Jeff Marder. On my CD of the same title. Thanks for your comment!

I know what an oboe is. I see it when its players turn around to tell me I'm too loud! (i'm a trumpeter! ;-) ) GREAT VID!!!!! ;-) ...and in Linc. Center? really?? sad...
