Sequenced and played live - using eight 25+ year old Commodore 8580 SIDs in a beautiful MB6582 package. Some other synths were used, too, but the SID sound is unique :-) MIDIbox SEQ ftw!

Thanks for listening!

  • @Maelstroem3 Will do, I finished my Core 3 board today for the FM. Got a 3U 19" rack for it, plastic but sturdy enough. Just awaiting the oscillator and some bits so I can test out the FM board.

  • @curritmotrance I think the FM synthesis just didn't have the correct interface. All the knobs were removed and people just played presets. I think it's a shame that FM is overlooked as if you add filters and FX to it then it can sound good. A lot of FM bass sounds were used in the 90s. I do love my SID sounds too.

  • @bodobear thanks & thanks for your comment! :)

  • i am sitting at work and listen to your tunes all the morning while it's stormy outside. great work !! thanks for sharing !
