I had both strep throat and mono at the same time (as mono makes you more suceptible to secondary infections like strep throat). It sucked! I was very sick for 2 weeks but the 3rd week was bearable for sure! I could eat again and return to work...just pretty fatigued is all.

I've had Mono for a month and am still being affected by the symptoms. I sleep a lot and am constantly nauseous and sore. A whole month of my summer has been wasted. It definitely stinks!!

Somehow, I missed this in adolescence - when you are actually permitted to be sick. I'm 40 now, busy beyond belief and sick as dog. This effing virus is the worst thing to happen to me this year!!! :(

i just went to the doctor after around a week of my throat getting progressively more sore and swollen and he was like its not strp you have mono...? so now im on steroids.
