Love the pictures of the 1951 Star Craft. Your pictures have motivated me to restore my Star Craft. I've had it for a while and still use it. Very hard to find any info on these old but great Jon boats. I got mine from a friend that had it sitting on the origianl trailer. I told him I'd take him to Hooters if he'd let me have the boat. He said it was a deal. I've got a 7.5 Gamefisher on it. Now its titled and being used. Thanks a million.

Usually on polyurethane treated cheap plywood or if you have a little extra cash...aluminum flooring. Safety first, make sure your boat can handle the extra weight and modifications. Check out the forum for boats done and in progress!
