they have new moving heads and roving heads with 5 to 10 watt LED bulbs that are twice as sharp and bright and beat halogen any day!

What would you suggest between the chauvet color paletes and the chauvet techno strobes? I'm switching all my lights over from halogen to LED

I think the color palettes are a really good wash effect and you can do more with them rather than a strobe. If you run them dmx, you can make them into a strobe of any color also.
