@AVCampos81 thanks, didn't think 20 mins have passed but youtube never lies

@technicdesigner I don't think so, since the small pumps have plastic pistons instead of the bigger versions' metallic ones.

@legofunny1 The motor at the top pulls a string, which make the small pneumatic pump at the bottom. It pumps water to the second reservoir, which then goes back to the first.

Is lego water-tight?
MoTheMoProductions 3 months ago
@MoTheMoProductions Some elements, like the pneumatic pump and tubes, are. Others, like the bricks forming the two reservoirs, were waterproofed by a thin layer of white glue (which turned transparent upon drying) on the inside. This layer, according to the author of the MOC, can be easily removed from the bricks without leaving trace.

there are 2 tubes between the reservoirs and the colours are different, so is the water being pumped from the 2nd pool into the 2nd pool?
LinkShack 5 months ago
@LinkShack The water flows in a closed circuit: the pump pushes it from the 1st container to the 2nd through one of the tubes, then it returns through the other tube.
