Labeling books by genre is much like labeling people by beliefs. Even calling someone an "atheist" is just a short-handed way to judge a person before you even "read" them.

Sadly, a lot of people put these labels on themselves and then eagerly conform to the strict ideas of what these labels represent, much like genre books limit themselves to what it means to be a "horror" or "sci-fi" story. You say kill genre, I agree. We should also kill these seperationist identities that we put on ourselves. Look closer at the "atheist community" and you'll see a lot of conformity being preached there, as much as you might see in a "Christian community. "
