that sure looks like a bar from a "GONDOLA TRAIN" lol
either way, good idea...

The tool holds a lot safer than a large prybar but you still have to start by hammering the ball joint to pop it loose
-
May not be good for metal sheet cheap control arms as I guess it will bend them in the process. Probably good for cast iron control arms.

That helped me a lot,

WHO NEEDS BALLS WHEN YOU GOT CA$H MONEY!?

best tool ever for lower control arm to ball joint release on ford taurus. straight bars are not nearly as efficient.

My Matco 36" Prybar does the same thing only I dont have to sit on it, and it fits in my toolbox!
Seems like a good invention if you only did that all day. Unfortunately a lot of mechanics do not get to choose what they work on and what jobs they do/do not do.

@mailtostu You clearly have not watched enough 80's porno if you think this music is from there.
Go to your room! Do your homework. There will be a quiz on the new material tomorrow. Extra credit will be applied for all Seka or Jeannette Littledove references.

@andrewbobbin Amen.

Wrong market niche. Should be marketed as a birth control device for men under the brand name "Ballzbegone".
One minute you're a macho backyard mechanic and the next you're singing soprano in the church choir.
i'd add a little pad to sit on for the install....the missus would never forgive me damaging MY ball joints...
