  • That's not too hard. You need some large hexes, a lot of flocking (I'd buy it in model railroad supply levels.) Then you start making the tiles, paint the top in glue and add the flock.

It's a lot of work, but you can actually make it fairly cheap. Definitely cheaper than the 300 dollar deluxe boxed set.

  • admittedly, it's nice to have a game you can actually play. Sometimes terrain can get in the way of gameplay.

The most amazing stuff was the Duke Sigfried stuff. He did the Mars Space 1889 stuff, and the David and Goliath battle.

  • That Catan Board was incredible indeed!! I WANT ONE!! :D

  • My favorite was the giant Catan board at 5:47 but I love the huge Heroscape board at 3:18. I hope the terrain at 5:35 was for Heroclix. That would be cool. I'm surprised there weren't more 40K boards.

  • looks great. wish i had been there.

  • Thanks guys for sharing the wonderful Pics! My only concern is the camera was moving way to fast to fully enjoy what was being displayed. Thanks!

  • I'm surprised by how sparse and unfinished a lot (not all, of course) of those miniatures setups looked! Having recently enjoyed the many videos and photo galleries from the big Salute show in the UK, the spectacle is night and day.

  • City at 2:22. Ruins as 2:30. Heroscape as 3:18. Cool WW1 trenches at 3:24. Ships at 5:14 ... drool. Thanks for the tour Dice Tower crew!

  • PS. I wasn't as impressed with Letter Roll. A good game for writers, perhaps, but it can actually be pretty tough for most people. Thinking of words that match the letters isn't easy.

  • I bought Word on the Street, took it home to my family -- who are not regular gamers -- and they loved it. We spent Friday evening playing it.
