Around 50 years ago, I made life-masks from the faces of my friends. This is how I did one of my sister's face. My career progressed through art and writing. You can view my work on www.warbirdart.demon.co.uk

  • Kids' modelling clay from Woolworths. Tastes awful!

Locate bitten Plasticine in mould, block any holes, then Vaseline coat mould and pour in the plaster (I used dental plaster from Boots). When the cast has set, break it apart from the mould. Then you have to carefully hook out the Plasticine from the cast face. BE CAREFUL! Make sure your sbject is calm and aware of what happens and have pre-arranged signals in case of panic.

    Good luck.

  • thats Frikken Awesome lol

  • Thanks for your comment. Did you notice that the masks at the beginning were of myself and included my teeth? I did it all in one cast by biting on plastecine and then a friend smothered my face in plaster. The plastecine was then placed in the plaster mould and a cast made as in the film.
