LMMS Electro bassline demo

ok this isnt a perfect demo, but it should give you a good idea as how to create an Electro house type bassline using LMMS. and its detune mode in the piano roll.
the vid also demos how to get a pumping/ducked sidechain type of effect on the volume of the bassline, there are other more complex methods of achieving this which i will do a tutorial on soon. I also have a good method for creating a very effective juno2 "hoover" sound which will follow soon :)

@pd96music i made that theme myself by editing the source code in linux, then recompiling it, hopefully soon lmms will become totally theme-able from the user level tho ;)

same here, I now have 0.4.10 on Linux and detuning has never worked on any version I've ever used, no idea why

@anbolb it may be a case that detuning doesn't work for certain instruments, namely ZASF ,SF2player, vestige and lb302, but it should however work for the rest of the instruments,.. let me know if it works with triple-oscillator for example .. ;)

@JordanGreigYo i have yet to find a vid of how to install LMMS using cmake, have you looked at the lmms wiki instructions, i presume your using a linux distro ( although it can be compiled on OSX and win ), i can help you with installing from source if you want to pm me ;)

@SuperLinuxAudioGuru my bad, it seems to work ok now! I was trying it with triple oscillator but it never worked at first, then it worked sporadically, and now it seems to work all the time... (scratches head) Thanks for the vid anyhow, I never even noticed that button before haha
