  • Love the effort! Good job. Would like to know if you save any gas. Put up a results video and let us know how it worked for you. Watch out for birds. ;-)

  • @hydroweek I only got about two extra miles per gallon. It was because of the peanut butter jars I was using. I discovered that all three were leaking around the lids.

  • this doesn't work for better efficiency because its only increasing resistance which uses more gas. so basically your just adding more material to your car /:

  • What you said would be true IF it was in front of a Corvette - but it's in front of a van which already has a flat nose with a lot of wind resistance. I am simple recapturing the some of the lost energy within that pushed air and recylcing it.

  • Hi Why didn't you use Alternators, these are far more efficient than those dynamo type your using.

    cheers zerpoint132

  • I didn't use alternators because the hydrogen cells would demand as much power as the alternators could produce and then the resistence would be so great that even a 50 mph wind couldn't turn the alternators.

  • People really just don't understand physics, do they? LOL, he will get worse fuel milage because of the drag.

  • God Speed

  • HAha awesome

  • i wish u luck in your life, bye

  • WHAT THA FUCK?

  • A couple things come to mind watching your video...

The fans on the front bumper... not a great choice. Top of the van would work better for all the added wind resistance you created. Though I can see an axial design on the roof and fed with forced induction, flowing over a turbo-like fan blade. A turbine in a tube w/ twin PMMs.

But if you want to save on fuel, check out the GEET-type fuel vaporization systems. It's simple stuff to build and super efficient.

Good luck to you whatever you do!

  • good luck to you!! if those where hooked to the engine i wonder how good they would be pretty kool though

  • hey ya man thts a relly good idea nd good luck wit gettin a new job just gotta hang in there i gess

  • Well done congratulation

PM motor, is a good choice

Wind mill idea is perfect and could even improve air flow if well done

    Take care
