I'm from the UK. Please tell me which political party in my country is not corrupt in some way? MPs fiddle their expenses, buy second homes, new gardens with water features. Capitalism in any form is corrupting in some way. Almost every country in the world suffers from corruption. George Bush Jr. stole the 2000 election from Gore. I'll say it again, but if you're looking for a non-corrupt alternative, where do you go? To religion? To apathy?

That is the post-colonial condition my friend. I was born in Britain, and am mixed English/Jamaican. I see videos about Northern Ireland and it echoes strongly with the images I see from the garrison communities in Jamaica. The same thing reverberates across the globe, very few countries were able to establish a socio-political structure that wasn't corrupt or violent. The thing is, as this Murdoch thing is showing, even the big powers are corrupt! So who do you vote for?!

it hurts so much to see these people going though so much, but im not sorry for them. the guy in the red said he's going to support the leader even though they're corrupt and doing nothing to help with the people's plight. so how can i, in my right mind feel sorry for them. the reports that comes out of SA today shows that the country is going to hell in a hand basket and yet the ANC is still in power. i would say "i hope they wake up" but i know thats not going to happen any time soon.

I'm Irish South African, but South African firstly and foremostly. In Ireland we got independence from Colonial Britain, great stuff. however the next 60 years after independence was no better than before, we allowed crack pot leaders in and religion was written into the constitution and priests ruled the country. People left Ireland in droves. When leaders are elected on the basis of screaming about past wrongs, the country is guaranteed to be stuck in poverty for YEARS

0626.. - I was born in SA you twat and I'm ten years older than you. I'm glad things are better for you even though you were five years old when apartheid ended, but what about the millions of people still unemployed and still (after 15 years) living in tin huts. But fuck it, YOU are a little better off so you keep voting for those fucking corrupt arseholes in power. You ARE voting for ANC because of what they stood for but that legacy is fucking long gone my ignorant friend.

The ANC had these people believing that they would flourish under their tiny corrupt wings, now 15 years later, what happened? But they still elected the ANC back into power? So what the fuck????? They had their chance and basically they blew it...AGAIN.
