Dang he sounds good. Weird ending though.

According to Wikipedia, Bobby Darin, who was born Walden Robert Cassotto, changed his name to Darin after seeing a Chinese restaurant sign reading "Mandarin Duck". Never knew that.

@gratheeus It's hard to believe those people were to staid during such a wonderful performance.

Some people in history that time has forgotten about were overrated and not worth looking up. Bobby Darin was not one of them.

My 17 year old son and I just watched Beyond the Sea with Kevin Spacey playing Bobby Darin. Excellent performances by Spacey....made a new fan out of my 17 year old, which proves this music is timeless. This was just raw talent!

My brother-in-law is in the MTV video of this song. He is a tall, thin; a good-looking Italian...you can't miss him. :-)

What a card that he was.

Whew! I'm glad he's okay - I was getting a little worried about him there toward the end!

This song was #1 when I was born. Do you know yours?

Growing up in the 60s man, was it hot, inventions, cures, the space race, wars, hippies, and an explosion of new artist and great songs. Loved Bobby's music...I even learned how to snap my fingers from this song, LOL Thinks for the song, reminiscing :)
