I hear people say where is music like this today...I finally figured it out. There's no real talent anymore. You don't have to sing or have technique just yell, shout, be breathless, sing nasal, or be monotone. It's so easy to be a superstar today. Nothin' to it.

This song has had a lot of renditions and frankly Darin's is far from the best one. He had a very small voice, in fact, limited range. Maybe healthy issues... he sure looked a lot older than he was (he died at 37, and in this video he looks like 50...).
