Even in a different language, the beauty and prayer-like quality of this song is clearly shining forth!

@yadid888 Regarding my view of English in this case, as I said tenth of comments ago, I find the English version more childish, not because English is childish but because as you said, it was meant to children. What can I do that I find the Hebrew version better? its a matter of taste. you just proved me right.
BTW - who said that being childish is a bad trait for the movie??????????????

Dear @TehLeek,
As I said many times before we are all kept with the right to feel see and interpret an art master piece as we find correct. You might disagree with me whether such freedom really exists but I find it hard to take away from all of us, children, children at heart and adults the ability to see beyond the artist's intentions.
-
@yadid888 No, you're not a child because you watch it. The G-Rating is an indication that it was targeted towards children, not to mention Disney films are family-oriented. Yes, "children at heart" watch Disney films as you say, but that barely refutes (it more or less reinforces) the point that this was targeted towards children, and that it's pretty daft to criticize the English dub because it's "childish" when that's not a bad trait for the movie.
-
@TehLeek so r you a child because you watch it? I guess not... The rating means it's suitable for children and children at heart, not necessarily children.
End of discussion dear friend :) I think we are all over the place....
-
@yadid888 It recieved a G Rating, which means it was targeted towards children.
-
@TehLeek As I said earlier we neither know what are the facts simply because we weren't the movie producers. lets just say the in the ring of free speech there is enough room for both of us.
-
@yadid888 The movie was targeted towards children. Yes, it has much more of a mature story than the average cartoon show, but let's be honest; there are plenty of tales for children that involve cannibalism, death, mutilation, and cruelty used to teach a lesson. Just because something has mature, adult, or violent themes doesn't mean it's never meant for kids. This is a kids movie that doesn't insult the intelligence of the target audience.
-
@TehLeek I think you are wrong. the movie might be targeted to children by colors and animation but it does not mean that the storyline and the plot are such as well. If you would ever learn English literature in University like I did you might find many of the stories you find "meant for children" as much deeper creations meant for wise men to reveal.
-
@yadid888 But the movie IS childish. Despite any perception you wish to have of this movie, it was targeted towards and made for children. It's a kids movie, no matter how much you wish to convince yourself of the contrary.

:| Names don't change no mater what language you speak. Even in China, a guy named "charles" is still called "charles."
You're one of those people who think little foreign girls that are adopted at birth know their original language.
