i have that same guitar, mine sounds like that, i dont run it through any pedals tho, i just have the guitar and a peavey 112 bandit, i have the bass on it turned all the way up for the death metal stuff and i turn the bass to about the 5 for the punk stuff, its an over all great guitar, my only problem with mine is the tone ajuster on the guitar is messed up, it works, its just really loose and i cant take it off to fix it, but anyway, awesome job man
