I'm Sorry I Never Knew

Imagine if everybody hated you. Imagine if you had no friends. Imagine if you had nothing to live for anymore. Our narrative is the story of a girl, Chloe, who lived life as an outcast. In the film, the protagonist, Jake, finds a letter that Chloe has left in her locker, describing the pain that she went through every day. As he reads, Jake begins to understand Chloes secret sorrows and feelings that she has never told anyone. Slowly, his perspective of life changes; he ultimately realizes that things arent always how they seem.In our film, we used many angles and effects to enhance the story. For example, close-up, birds eye view, and worms eye view allow the audience to experience events as if they were actually in the film. We chose not to have dialogue throughout most of the narrative, because it creates a stronger image. All of the scenes are filmed indoors to show that Chloe feels trapped and closed-off from the rest of the world. We also used other indicators in the environment to show the characters feelings, such as the sky.While watching our narrative, we hope you will think deeply about the meaning we are trying to express; we hope that Chloes story will inspire you as well.
