A highlight reel of my pups running on Saturday. Taken during the Punderson Sled Dog Classic in Newbury, Ohio, January 9, 2010. I am so proud of them!

  • Some very experienced mushers had some great things to say about "that little wheel dog" (Willow). Everyone who commented said that you could be even more successful it you put her in lead, especially with a trained dog. "She knows what she's doing!" they have said. Of course I may be biased since I always thought the world of her and knew she was destined for greatness...vbg.

  • Also, my other sledding video (a slow training run a couple weeks ago) shows Willow in lead. She's a no-nonsense gal! :)

  • Did I hear you say this was your first race? I never saw a slack tug line in this vid -- your dogs love working for you. Well done!

  • Thanks!!! This is our first season running, and yep, our first race! They truly love this work, and I've tried to make it as positive and fun for them as possible. :)

  • Great video...we were there so this was great as it gave us a new perspective. Looking forward to next year's event!!!

  • Glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • great video

  • Great video, how fun for the dogs, I am jealous! Wish we had more snow here...

  • WOW, you make this look effortless! Congratulations! (And what a gorgeous day!)

  • Very inspiring girl. The dogs look great. So happy to have met you a couple of weeks ago at a "Punderson practice day".

Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon on the trails. I enjoy all your videos, Burt

  • Thank you! :) Willow has run lead before, and is just an amazing girl, such a hard worker! I didn't run her in lead that day because I was concerned about passing other teams. But as soon as we work that issue out, I plan to return her to lead. She works well in every position I've put her in!
