  • Those are all nice things, I agree. It is a shame that to pay for them, the State must threaten me with force - literally put a gun to my face and haul me to a prison. What really sucks to me is I would love to volunteer for and contribute to all kinds of socially liberal stuff like this, but I can't because I have to work off large tax bills and have nothing left over to give. I really don't. I am tapped - I drive a '94 Buick wagon forchrissake.

  • How about showing a blown up Iraqi child? Or someone thrown in jail for smoking some medical marijuana? Or the TSA groping babies at airports? Thanks taxes.

  • @BurnBeforeEating Bingo.

  • They're all either AFL-CIO members (you can clearly see their pins), the children on AFL-CIO members, or unemployed hipster bums.

  • Thank taxesfor snow plows? Really?! It takes the Township snow plows days to get to my house, but that doesn't matter since I can hire a private company to do it, and sometimes my neighbor does it with his pickup. Honestly, these people act like these things would not exist without taxes (when in reality they would be much better).

  • They should be holding up a sign: "thank you coercion, thank you IRS for keeping me in line"

  • Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan along with many others also thank you for your tax dollars, but the amount spent destroying and attempting to rebuild and buy off politicians and citizens of those countries.

  • Yes, let's find a bunch of people directly employed or who benefit from state financed coercion and ask them if they are for or against taxation and act surprised when they come out in favor of taxation. Really folks, this is what passes for social discourse today?

  • Thank coercion for tyranny.

  • Thank taxes for murdering innocent Iraqis and Afghans
