  • Outstanding! Those who would criticize the speed might want to check the tempo marking in the score.

  • too slow!!!!!

  • Je n'aime pas cette interprétation. Mais bon.

  • Yes! This is played properly! Very often orchestras play this peace too quickly even in Finland. This is very valuable and festive peace and it is always played on independance day in Finland for example in the presidential reception in the presidental palace. I get emotional every time I hear this, because it brings a lot of memories of my grandparents who fought in the war and lived in Karelia. May them rest in peace! And thanks for this video!

  • Why are they playing this so slowly?

  • Wow! OK, maybe the video and sound quality are not the best (too much noise from the audience) but this orchestra gave one of the most stirring performances of this piece I have ever heard. Many thanks for posting it. Excellent. I loved it.

  • Not too many interpretations on here that I like. This particular one is excellent. This orchestra plays the piece as I think it should be played. Too many orchestras play it too rapidly and it loses its proud gait. This one in my mind is perfect; comparable to the Joel Levi rendition.
