Pinkney "Pink" Anderson (February 12, 1900 -- October 12, 1974[1]) was a blues singer and guitarist, born in Laurens, South Carolina.

Why would you say that to that person. Pink Floyd's name is taken for this gentleman's name and another blues artist , Floyd Council. That is a good thing, for some young fan to find his way here to learn about and hear the Blues.
