It's been very interesting reading everyone's responses to the video. Each side of the brain processes 'data' quite differently and for unknown reasons there is a preference towards one or the other. Like we have 2 hands, but prefer one, 2 feet but are dominant with one, so to the brain.

With ILP we look at 5 dominances, eye, ear, foot, hand and brain. You will find many people have a mixture of dominance, processing strengths across both hemispheres. To sample ILP sign in on the website

I still doubt that brain mapping, ... is really through the research convincing? or just a speculative hypothesis analysis .. with what the research that the brain functions according to the mapping that ... communication between neuron cells using a combination of chemical agents and electrical signals, ... until skarang no technology to trace the communication ..

@TheTechController I am quite equal in brain balance which causes people to either think I'm stupid when first meeting them or that I might be weird. its mostly because of my height and build which can intimadate people so I always act gentle (meaning I lessen activity in the right side ), yet I dont want to come across as too intellecutal with people either so this stops the left side from takine full affect. SO yeah, I mostly look confused when dealing with new people. haha

@CStriiker Alpha male types are generally right sided because it allows them greater situational awareness, they are quicker to react and less thoughtful as to the consequence of their action. However Masters of Martial Arts learn to develop both sides. It is why they use the Yin Yang Symbol to mean soft, feminine energy with aggressive male energy. They always compliment each other, learning to apply either when required.

@teawithsu you use both for differnent tasks. when you are exercising for example you use the right. reading this comment, provided you are relaxed and are not worried you are using the left side.

However some people allow over development of the left side and therefore it becomes their comfort zone. its why artists or piano players dont really make good friends with sports people. however it does not mean you cannot develop right side brain thinking.
