Terranigma - Fighting the Shadowkeeper

No annotation crap this time- this is pure gameplay.

Here's the segment an hour or so into the game where you fight the guardian you've run into a couple time. Only this time, he's transformed into a huge scorpion wreaking havoc. This is Ark's final test before starting his real journey begins. Sort of like the end of a prologue.

Finally... I was looking at scattered let's plays of this game and I wasn't seeing any combat to see if this game was worth trying to get my hands on. Looks kinda like Alundra.

@joegt123 Yeah, that's not too far from it! It's got the RPG stats and equipment handling of Secret of Mana and the action-type fighting of Link to the Past. I think the main difference from Alundra is that you're quite free to attack in many ways, like a flurry of stabs, jumping and slashing with the blade of the spear, running and lunging with a stab etc.

man the music just kicks ass in this game. Reminds me of the greatness that is Shadow of the Colossus
