He speaks on the importance of getting future leaders into roles where they can develop and grow so that society is not reliant on a self appointed club of do-gooders who tend to be on the same organisations all the time.

Sir Jeremy Beecham is a British Labour politician. He was the first Chairman of the Local Government Association from 19972004. He and was elected Chairman of the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party from 2005 - September 2006. Sir Jeremy has also written articles for the Guardian.
