Its because hes on methadone, and to proove Wilson that hes not on any other drugs but vicodine he drinks alchocol and has to throw up so his heart wouldnt stop again...

@someirishwolf he's on methadone and wilson suspects hes taking heroin because earlier in the episode he nearly died and stopped breathing, so wilson takes him out for dinner and makes him drink a burboun and house goes outside to throw it up because alcohol + methadone = could cause death.
