Building the Haynes Mini Model

This is a video of the Haynes Mini Model being built.

It is a 1:24 scale model of the Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 made by Welly. The body shell is die cast metal and the accessories are plastic. It took about two hours to build and was very enjoyable thanks to all the parts fitting together nicely.

@MrPSNdaz1182 Shops seem to have stopped stocking this now, but there are plenty for sale on eBay. Just do a search for 'Haynes Mini Model'.

And yes, it would be cool to paint it the same colour as your Mini; I have seen it be done. Thanks to the model's bodyshell being metal, a rub down, bit of primer and rattle can from Halfords will do the job nicely.
