I was at this protest! but.. I didn't stay after dark... it started at 12:30 in Federal Plaza, then we marched up State Street, then up Wacker to Michigan. By the time we were heading back down south on the mag mile, the police had pretty much abandoned us and we were confined to sidewalks. At which point..it was like, almost 5, and I was WAY too tired to walk all the way down into the loop again. lol
wtf are the shouting though? I don't remember that chant, and I can't really hear it clearly.

More! Queer Chicagoans should protest local Mormon temples to get their tax-exempt status revoked. Let's not lose this momentum. NOW is the time for GLBT Americans in every city to demand equal treatment under the law. Love will beat hate if we take our love out in the streets and demand marriage rights nationally.
