  • What if the crib slats are irregular? I am having trouble getting these to stretch to the "second slat" to secure the front panel due to irregular crib slats. Very disappointing

  • @SecretJazz

not sure what you mean by "irregular" slats, but you can secure to last slats on the front panel if you're crib is too long. That will still work, but you will have an opening on either side of the front corner posts. Still keeps baby safer.

  • Doesn't match the product instructions. There is NO OVERLAP of the two panels in the current model! NO "ties in the front or back. Completely misleading and only adds to the frustration of setting it up!

  • IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IT SAYS: Note: Your product may not have ties on panels as shown on video and short panel length may be slighter shorter. Install long panel same as video, follow package instruction for short panel.

  • My child's crib has a changing table on the side, therefore, this does not fit my crib at all. I have one side where there are slats and one solid end. I tried combining the two methods and it does not work at all. I've had to sew on more velcro and tying strings so I could make it fit. My sons feet are just on that end now. I'm about to take it off because I feel like it's more of a saftey concern now.

  • Thanks for putting up this video. I was close to tearing it up and returning it before watching. It still doesn't fit perfectly. I think the product needs far more velcro. Installing this made my back hurt, and I'm in good shape.

  • I am defiantly getting this for my cousin, she is 31 weeks pregnant and BreathableBaby will be the most fabulous product for her as she has always been concious about baby safety

  • Its not rocket science folks, use common sense and the instructions... it will work out. I don't have a "Center" slat either and it works fine.

  • Excellent video! very easy to follow. We got the breatheable bumper some time ago, and decided to wash it before installing, but threw away the box and instructions...My wife and I were going crazy until we got to this video. Thanks!!!!

  • I just bought this yesterday and installed it on my crib. I have the type with slats all around. The back fit fine but with the front panel the tie was off set, so when I tied it on the center slat it made on side too short. I watched the video to see if this was normal and it isn't. All I had to do was tie it on another slat to make the sides even, but it mut be a manufacturing defect? Otherwise I do love the product and am very happy to have found it.

  • It seems easy without having to watch the video but I also got confused and frustrated and had to watch the video.....Much more informative than the instructions included!

  • First time install (w/out video) was aneurysm inducing. 2nd time with video much easier, but mine does not have the handy ties. Granted my crib does not have middle slats anyway, Short panel was too short, so corners on front are left open, will mod myself. Cool product though.

  • Mine had the ties... and the long and short panel. Oddly enough the short panel isn't short enough. I don't have "middle slats", so I had to choose which to the right or left of the middle area... and the long fit fine enough, but the short, there was not really enough velcro to secure it properly enough. I kept adjusting it to make it work and I'll keep my eye on it... but I think if he pulled on it ever it could unadhere and pull into the crib. So, even longer strips of velcro. thanks.

  • I bought this a couple of years ago for my first daughter. Just got it out for my second daughter and I couldn't remember how to install. Loved that you had a video! Makes it so easy!

    Thanks!
