Too bad Bezos isn't as photogenic as Steve Jobs, but he still remains 2nd only to Jobs as an internet visionary. Forget all of the nerdy Facebook nonsense. Bezos delivers "hard goods" in virtual time. He cares more about his customers than his stock-holders. He's not a prisoner of quarterly corporate reports. He looks beyond the horizons to "possibilities," not to past earnings. Listen: "I like Amazon, but the Kindle is doomed to be failure. It can never rival the iPod!" There's a maverick!

I'm not a fan of the iPad because I prefer real computing. But the Fire is just right for watching movies, a personal delight. More rugged than other Kindles.

Wow are you freaking kidding me? This was a pain to watch... I fell asleep in 5mins.
Jeff, as a CEO you really need to invest more in showmanship and public speaking! STOP giving boring/dull presentations like this!! The crowd (your customers) ought to get excited and inspired!! You failed to deliver why we should buy a Kindle and now I don't care about it.

My technophobic Grandma has a Kindle- and she loves it! She doesn't even read physical books anymore, thanks to this revolutionary device. If you're wondering (still) what to get a technophobic book lover in your family, get them a kindle.
Crowd must have been full of Apple fans
