I kind of like the Daleks with the hands. Maybe if they had only one, it would look less human. It makes sense so they could more easily manipulate objects.

@dalekman9999 he means that he could have upgraded them to something else, he just didn't see the daleks properly on the thumbnail

Actually in Terry Nation's original description of the Daleks he said they 'carry ray guns in their hands'. The sink plunger manipulator arm was the idea of Ray Cusick, the BBC designer who brought the ideas to life.

terry nation made the daleks the way they are because he didn't like the fact u can see most monsters on film are people in costumes. you've ruined the daleks.
