A sea shepherd conservation crew has clashed with a Japanese whaling fleet in the Great Southern Ocean. Investigations have been launched with the whalers who claim they were trying to take evasive action, whilst environmentalists say it was attempted murder. There is now pressure on the Australian Government to send an observer ship into the remote region.
Australia, you have our full support in your anti-whaling activities against the japs.

The IWC rules demand the whales taken be completely harvested so nothing is wasted. This is a ruling you would need to argue with the IWC.

I looked it up and it's Commission and this was in their definition. "Intergovernmental body responsible for the conservation of whales and the management of whaling."
Conservation means good animal husbandry, as in farming and harvesting. It does NOT mean complete ban on whaling as many with the Watson cult would try to pretend it says. It makes them upset the IWC isn't their dog to kick around. ;-)

Japan works within the IWC rules on research, many do not like this and call foul but can't do anything about it since Japan is well within the rules.
Norway and the Faroe Islands refuse to join the IWC and hunt without concerns. They also play rough and arrest the She Shepherd and Watson's cult leave the northerners alone. Watson refuses to admit the minke whale can be harvested without harming the species continuation.

@Impreza69 ← Sorry Serious Correction :
You said CONVENTION, not Conversation :))
WIKI The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is a non-profit, marine conservation organization based in Friday Harbor, Washington in the United States. The group uses direct action tactics to protect sealife. Sea Shepherd currently operates the vessels MY Steve Irwin and the Bob Barker, and most of the group's activities take place in international waters.
・・Conservation Convention Conversation similar.
