hey guys i got 2 questions;

one: on the bottom of my map i built a HUGE open space, i mean huge, will slimes spawn here?

two: if you take a slime to your house and trap it, will it live forever?

sorry coolio but i dont know how slimes spawn i know they are very rare a lot more rare than they were in this video

also slimes die after leaving it/ exiting minecraft :(

@htcoolio Just make a huge open box underground around 6 blocks high, where you first hit the bedrock. Expand it, make it very well lit (to keep out unwanted guests) and you should hit a slime spawning area. Also, be sure to be at least 50 blocks away, otherwise none will spawn. Hope I helped.

@ryaiAstrisk Slimes only spawn in certain chunks. I tihnk if you dig out a 100x100x3/4 you are like guaranteed to fidn a slime chunk.

I was wondering as to what food i feed it?
