  • This scene actually made me cry when I first saw it...I'm not sure why, I guess it was just that point when I realised that she hadn't gone to get her treatment, and was giving up on ever being cured...

  • The whole sequence when Laura is running and this is playing is brilliant. The editing and cinematography for BSG were always spectacular.

  • @aliceazzo swan song (check it on wikipedia if you're not familiar with the expression)

  • @Loveandbullets1 I checked out "Flesh and Bone" and I adore that song... Here's one for you, look up "Kat's Sacrifice". It's haunting and beautiful.

  • @adamaroslinfanatic You know what's been growing on me too. Flesh and Bone, especially the end. There are so many good ones. And Roslin Escapes of course. Love that one

  • This is amazing music. I remember hearing it explained by Bear McCreary himself on the extra features part of the DVD, and it gained an extra something, not that it really needed "enhancement." This is such perfect music: so profound. Bear McCreary is a genius!

  • i agree. but my faves:

Roslin and Adama (and all the variations)

    Prelude to War

    All Along the Watchtower

    The Dance

... and ah frak, all of them! I see what you mean, you can't really choose!

  • Can you really nail it down to any one song? I got all CDs of the soundtrack and I sure as hell can't. There are just too damned many "best songs" in the BSG soundtrack. :)

  • 1:31 is fantastic

  • THIS IS THE BEST SONG IN THE WHOLE TV SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

god Bear McCreary is a genious

  • I hear it from 0:13 though. good ear!

  • actually now that i'm relistening Adama Roslin strains are through the whole song. It's amazing how I could miss that given I listen to the song adama/roslin like 50 times a week!!
