im just wondering since japanese isnt her first language, does she have a korean accent or an accent of some sort?

the only accent she has (IMO) is when she speaks english like most Non-native english speakers. and sometimes her chinese is a bit off. other then that her korean and japanese are very fluent and precise.

I think back in the day, they were really trying to make her look Japanese for the Japanese market. The slight tan, the light hair; it's a tamer version of the Gyaru look that is just not popular in Korea where they worship milk white skin. But now everyone knows she is Korean and it's awesome that she is popular in both countries. If you watch the version of 'Eat you up' they debuted in the US, it seems like they are doing the same thing; making her look less Asian.
