Silvers inflation adjusted all time high in 1980 of $50 an oz. would have to reach to aboiut $145.00 (adjusted for inflation). So we have quite a ways to go just to be even with the 1980 price of $50.00 after the Hunt Bros. cornered the silver market. I buy whatever I can afford when I can afford it. Silver is still dirt cheap. People are gonna make 10's of $millions buying silver long. It could happen next week, in 5 months or in 2 years but it's gonna happen and it's close to happening.

@wedcopson Sorry! I couldn't really tell ya. Have you tried to google the info. you posted. If they are pure than they are atleast $30 per oz.

hold on a second, how many ounces are above ground? 700 million ounces? Surely must be running out, yes, or not...? or are people (for the most part) just trading it around among themselves and not holding onto it?

@trje246 Physical Silver Supply sure seems like it should be starting to get pretty tight. Demand has been increasing but I don't thing they have been keeping up on production mining increases.
