  • This looks brilliant, so professional. It's hard to believe this was filmed on the SD60! I have this camera too but I never knew it was capable of capturing footage good enough for such great slow motion FX. Just one question: How did you achieve such good quality slow motion without the footage jittering? Btw, this is definately one of the best videos I have seen using this camera! Thanks.

  • Thanks for the great comments!!! All the editing was done in final Cut Pro X , the slow mo. I stabilised the clips and then I used optical flow, which is part of the programme (its really cool!) I did a ken burns crop on the wave, which got rid of the distorting, although I should have cropped the other slow mo clips to get rid of some distortion round the edges (learned that afterwards :)) the clips are colour corrected with in Final Cut too.

I love Final Cut pro X despite all the bad press!

  • I did stabilize some of the clips, some Bad TV effect and some Film burns, but the slow motion is optical flow at 5 % , Its a bit like twixtor eh!

cheers for the positive comment ! :)

  • Wow! Did you just use optical flow in FCPX, is that all you did? It looks awesome.
