Here is my friend Mark in his Max IV with tracks powered by a 29HP Kawasaki EFI liquid cooled 4 stroke V twin. You can see how a fast moving creek, steep hills, and mud, tree limbs, and other obstacles don't get in the way of this highly capable amphibious machine.

  • They are the factory newer style Max IV tracks. I would say top speed is about 25, the machine is quite a bit quicker with the tracks off, but the traction is incredible with them on. It can be a pain, and takes about an hour, but if your only putting them on in winter and off in summer its not too bad. These tracks do not swim in the least, if you start to float you are at the mercy of the current until you touch bottom again.

  • What brand tracks are those? I was looking at Argos but hey are too much money for me right now ,but, Ive found an 07 Max 4 with 27 HP engine heated throttle and 70 hours for $5000. Might get this for hunting. Whst type of top speed do you get with tires and track? Is it a PIA to switch thme out?

  • that was one steep incline!
