Police in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur have used water cannons and fired tear gas to break up one of the country's biggest anti-government rallies in nearly 10 years.
Tens of thousands of protesters marched in heavy rains to the king's palace demanding electoral change. Al Jazeera's Hamish MacDonald reports.

    btw, dictionary is mispelled.

  • @MrShadowz92

    Its OKay though =)

Just please yourself with your words and definitions ~ I'm not trying to win this comment at all ~ I'ma not trynna shadow it wit none ~ suit yourslef MrShadowz92..

you're not there yet in 16 May 1969. Human corpse is everywhere in the streets.. NO JOKE. If that is the deictionary definition of "protest" then suit yourself.

I got nothing to say more..

  • @0177231064 Okay already you are referring to it as a riot. That's your first mistake. It's a "protest".Look up the definition of the word if you have to.These protests are not "riots",look up the definition of a riot and then make your comparisons. They are marching. chaos and havoc ensues only when the FRU retaliate against the "protest".You refer to "riot" in may 1969,if you mean protests I suggest you to not just focus on protests in malaysia as others internationally have benefits.

    Greetings & Salutations =)

I've to mention that I'm not in behalf of anyone, not for BN nor PR.

I'm interested because this is the place where me & others citizens live our life.

the riot may go out-of-control if all of us are "stimulates our emotions"..

re-check the last "riot" 16 May 1969. No benefit from that. Period.

Talking about "Federal Reserve Unit", they won't harm your for nothing as if you stay at home.

    Not at all.

PRO & CONTRA - Think 3X - Its Still LEGAL..

  • @0177231064 Okay firstly i don't know how true your claim is about them being offered a stadium but okay I will go so far as to grant you that. Yes they didn't accept the stadium because that would lose the whole purpose of having a protest; to create awareness among the public and to garner support for their cause. Being a so called "democratic" country, this should be allowed i.e freedom of speech. How is marching in the streets affecting the public more so than "riot" police firing chemicals.
