I love their coloring. It remindes me of the wolfhounds in a celtic legend I read long ago. Those wolfhounds were white with dark eyes as well. : )

@MrTheCicadraza Sadly, giant dogs like IWH's are usually only good for about ten years. Sometimes more, sometimes less but plenty of time to have such beautiful angels in your life.

I grew up with as many as ten wolfhounds in my house, Tara, George, Jr. and all the pups. Every kids dream is to have a pet dinosaur, i had ten and will be getting one as soon as i can

NOt long enough. Angelina and Coleen are #5 and 6 for us. We have lost them at 9,10, and almost 11 and one at 5 years.
Angelina is now 6 and Coleen is 4 and both doing very well.

Vet costs can get high - but we 'raw feed' - and they are very healthy - they sure give a lot of love and are well worth the expense - IWs are not for everybody tho -they do have special needs.

your dogs are so beatiful, my dream is have an irish wolfhound, but here in Chile, where i live, it's almost imposible

I did not realize back when you posted that I could respond. Where is Chile do you live? We visited your country at Christmas time in the mid 90's and loved your country. You may not have Irish Wolfhounds in Chile but you certainly have a lot of Irish names - like O'Higgins!

continued reply - We landed in Santiago and went down the coast to Vina del Mar. That coast was rugged and beautful. I watched the seals sunning on rocks. Then we went to Puerto Montt to take the trip over the lakes and moutains to Argentina. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly to us. It was just about our most memorable trip anywhere.
