Following is the only link that we have found with the live coverage of the earthquake in the Pacific.
Word is:
The Earthquake was an 8.9 magnitude, was located 150 miles from Tokyo and the Tusnami was stated as moving at 500 miles per hour...
Hawaii is being evacuated with expected waves of 6 feet, Japan said to have had at least 18 foot high Tsunami wave....
News said that Tsunami waves are expected to hit the coast of Southern California at 5:00 pm PST...
All the Pacific Rim is expected to have some effects as a result of this Tusnami...
From the Earthquake Animation link there are either 'aftershocks' or actual earthquakes that are continuing to occur in the same spot with magnitudes that appear bigger than most earthquakes...
This is the only news channel we can find showing that was showing 'live' footage... none of 'our' media had any coverage that we could find at the time my husband was looking for news on this:

forget about whatever happened with dolphins ,,, Tsunami has nothing to do with dolphins ... If it does then there should an Earth quake in US whose forces killing innocent peoples .... so lets give this political talk an end and Help Japanese with atleast Good words ... May God have mercy on all of us ... This is the time we have to stand like a ONE WORLD for Japanese ...
